Corporate Wellness Certification 2011 

 

Attendees of the Corporate Wellness Conference will have access to attend the Corporate Wellness Certification Course (Value of $500) that will occur on Wednesday, October 26th at 2:00 pm to 3:50 pm.   Upon completion of the intense advanced workshop attendees will receive a certification in Corporate Wellness.

 

Corporate Wellness Certification Course (Part 1):  An Introduction to Corporate Health and Wellness  (Approximately 1hr) 

This course will be a comprehensive overview and introduction of how to begin a corporate wellness program for companies of any size. Denise Holland, Plan Administrator for Hog Slat, Inc and President of Inside Employee Wellness and Consulting will show you the basic elements of a successful wellness program, discuss whether to use vendor or in house resources for program administration, show you the tools and processes you need to create a wellness program, and provide examples of effective wellness programs for small and medium sized employers.

This course is for employers, health insurance agents, consultants, brokers and TPA’s who are interested in learning more about creating and maintaining successful corporate wellness programs.

At the end of the course attendees will receive a certification in corporate wellness (CCW).

 

Corporate Wellness Certification Course (Part 2):  An Advanced Corporate Wellness Certification Workshop  (Approximately 1hr) 

This course is an intense, advanced certification and continued discussion of the Corporate Health and Wellness Certification (Part 1). A great workshop for both employers with existing wellness programs as well as those employers that are just beginning to design and implement their corporate health and wellness program.

This course will discuss:

  • ROI~ How to quantify presenteeism, absenteeism, and overall health improvements
  • Employee Engagement
  • The Importance of including spouses and families in wellness programs
  • How to move from participation to outcomes based wellness programs- the legal and ethical issues you need to keep in mind
  • Working with your disease mgmt provider to reward employees for managing their chronic conditions
  • Updates with PPACA/Healthcare Reform

This course is for employers, health insurance agents, consultants, brokers and TPA’s who are interested in learning more about creating and maintaining successful corporate wellness programs. 

At the end of the course attendees will receive a certification in corporate wellness (CCW).
